INTRODUCTION
Indian art
never ceases to fascinate us. As India is “the land of kings” and Indian
culture” the amalgamation of several traditions”. Even since the ancient times,
the art has always amused and entertained us. One such incredible event “dharti
dhora ri” (DDR) in association with renaissance is set to explore and introduce
the art of Rajasthan and other regions of India.
When the
number of technical events and their frequency at Renaissance 2013 will sap
your all energy, DDR will work in the form of recreation where you can compete
in a series of short tasks and learn the never seen arts of ancient times that will get your
adrenaline going up.
TALENT INSIDE:
The flavor
of the stage, the panic of performance, the excitement and anxiety, the cheers
and applause is what the artist want. So if you are one of them and something
inside, then “talent inside” is the platform for you. Get ready to prove your
mettle and beat the competition.
General Rules :-
·
Looking
for extraordinary talent and hidden sparks .
·
No
props other than chairs and tables will be arranged(that too on prior
mention).However participants can get their own props if required.
·
Any
mode of language is allowed.
·
Dirty
Picture : vulgarity or indecency is not
allowed.
·
Decision
given by the judges will be ‘full and final’.
·
A
computer/laptop for background music will be provided. Please bring the music
in CDs in MP3 format & not in audio cassettes .You can also perform live
music but the necessary instruments must be arranged by the team.
·
Nothing
will be provided for prior practice.
·
Participants
must make sure that their act doesn’t offend anyone’s religious sentiments or feelings.
·
Participants
can perform their acts for time less than 15 minutes.
·
Participants
are requested to register for the contest mentioning their act or art to get
entry.
·
No
charges for the contest.
